André Correia
Born in Portugal, I had my first dog which was a Portuguese waterdog when I was only 6 years old. I was the happiest around dogs and always knew in the back of my mind that I would end up working with them.

I always make what I love a priority and go down the rabbit hole of learning as much as possible..like history of dog training methods, modern training practices, and dog psychology and behavior.
​
In a world that can sometimes feel too busy to have space to enjoy life, I love how dogs cultivate a sense of presence and play.
​
Seeing happy, healthy dogs living alongside their humans is what inspires me to continue doing what I do and trying to impact both people and dog's lives through training, dog activities and promoting building a solid connection between humans and their fur-babies.

What Training Methods Do We Use?
We prioritize teaching your dog how to play and interact appropriately with family members and friends. Our trainer excels in basic training, ensuring that your dog receives the best possible start in life. By instilling good habits and manners from the beginning, we aim to foster a harmonious and well-adjusted relationship between your dog and the people around them.

At Top Dog DXB, we specialize in the use of positive reinforcement approaches. We firmly believe in the LIMA (Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive) approach. There are instances when positive reinforcement alone may not achieve the drastic changes your dog needs.
In such cases, we are fully capable of approaching behavior change differently by incorporating some form of aversives into our training.
However, it's important to note that every training plan is presented to the owner before we start with training
